Insurance, Pricing, & Scheduling

Acceptable Forms of Payments: 

• Cash pay (Best pricing)
• In-network insurances (Medicare) BCBS pending
• Out of network Insurances (all other insurances)
• Care credit.

*We do not bill through Medicaid at this time, but patients can utilize self-pay methods.

Is your insurance in or out of network?

In order to allow for longer comprehensive visits, we utilize Courtesy billing for out of network insurances (non-participating) for most insurance companies. Most functional providers do not submit insurance claims, but HPC is trying to increase access to this type of service. Therefore, all private insurance payers are accepted. With courtesy billing, patients should expect to pay for services at time of visit.

Before Scheduling, consider the following steps: 

Step 1: Determine appointment type needed: Functional, Conventional, or Occupational? 

Step 2: Are you billing insurance or self-pay?

Step 3: If billing insurance, determine if HPC is in network or out of network. 

a) If HPC is out of network, determine your eligibility o  out of network benefits. If so, schedule an appointment and plan to utilize Courtesy billing. Patient will pay for appointment on day of service and HPC will bill your insurance for patient reimbursement. 

b) If HPC is in network, schedule an appointment and plan to pay copay or deductible at time of visit.
